Since Myanmar’s 2021 military coup, digital activists have transformed commercial platforms into financial lifelines, turning everyday online engagement into millions of dollars for the Spring Revolution.

Click to Resist invites you to look beyond the screen—and directly interact with the digital labor, attention mechanics, and algorithmic constraints that keep an anti-authoritarian movement alive.

This website is an interactive prototype and proof-of-concept simulation developed for scholarly proposals. It demonstrates the structural mechanics of digital fundraising rather than operating as a live platform.

    A dashboard ticker that monitors your scroll depth and converts your time online into a live ledger of US Dollars and Myanmar Kyat.
    It demonstrated the extraction and financialization of human behavior under platform capitalism.

  • CLICK COUNTER


    An interactive simulation replicating the conversion of clicking behaviors into cash. By navigating this mock website and its integrated ad spaces, you experience how distributed digital micro-actions add up to real revenue.

  • EMBEDDED MEDIA

    A curated archive featuring simulated videos, digital artwork, and photography co-created with Myanmar collectives. Through collaborative simulation, our team has produced an ethical archive that protects real-world resistance from military surveillance.

  • MODERATION TRIGGERS

    Behavior-based features that disrupt your experience with platform policy warnings and revenue penalties if you scroll or click erratically. This algorithmic response simulates the precarity and constant threat of digital eviction that online activists face.
